Snow Ghosts is the collaboration between UK electronic producer Throwing Snow & vocalist Augustus Ghost. Their music features regularly during Season 3 of MTV’s hit drama series Teen Wolf.
Listen out for ‘Gallows Strung’ in Season 3 Episode 18, in the scene where Kira calls out to Scott, and is then approached by Derek with an offer of help.
‘The Hunted’ provided the soundtrack for the final scenes of Season 3 Episode 16, “Illuminated”, in which Chris returns home injured, and Stiles makes a shocking realisation at the school.
Earlier in the series, their track ‘And The World Was Gone’ soundtracked the pivotal penultimate scene of Season 3 Episode 10 “The Overlooked”, where Scott & Stiles arrive at the hospital to find Derek, and go on to encounter Deucalion. The lyrics “I blink, and the world was gone” capture the mood of the episode as it draws to its finale.
The music is taken from Snow Ghosts’ debut album ‘A Small Murmuration’, which is out now. Snow Ghosts will be appearing at SXSW in Austin, Texas in March 2014.
